• Deadline for this year's contest is Friday, August 4, 2023 by 5:00 p.m. MST. Judges use a point system in place for each of the categories. All paid entry fee photos will be on display during the week of this year’s Chase County Fair.

• Awards: Each category will have first place, second place, and third place. These all will receive cash prize. There will also be a "Best Of Show" prize winner. Cash prize will be determined by how many photos are entered into this year’s contest and will be mailed to winners after the fair. No deliveries of photos will be made.

• To Enter:  

  • Must be 16 years or older

  • Photos must be suitable for family viewing.

  • Send Digital Photo to openphotocontest@gmail.com no later than 5:00pm MST August 4th, 2023.

  • Please specify which photos are being submitted for which categories

  • No limits on entries.

  • You will then receive a digital invoice for your $20 entry fee. (This cost covers the entry fee, photo print for display at the fair and processing fees). No entries will be allowed to be judged or displayed if the contestant has not paid their fee.

  • Entries constitute permission for the Chase County Fair to use in publications and online.
